报告题目：多解析多尺度的并行肿瘤模拟

内容简介：In the beginning, the presentation will illustrate how to develop 2D/3D multi-scale and multi-resolution agent-based cancer models (MMABM) for Glioma cancer research as well as the advantages of MMABM. And then, it will describe how to use latest graphic processing units (GPU) to increase the performance of MMABM. Next, this presentation will briefly introduce my upcoming research plan to apply parallel MMABM for multi-myeloma cancer. Finally, it will show how to build up a 3D continuum skin cancer model to forecast the laser power and treatment time for the skin cancer hyperthermia treatment.

报告人简介：章乐，教授，博士，现任四川大学计算机（软件）学院副院长。已发表60余篇学术论文。在美国路易斯安娜理工大学获得硕士和博士学位，并在哈佛大学医学院麻州总医院从事博士后研究工作，担任过密歇根理工大学助理教授和罗切斯特大学医学院副教授。目前的工作核心是利用计算机和数学计算的知识为生物信息研究提供实时模拟和数据挖掘技术，并通过实验数据建立，分析和优化相关模型。现担任ACM SIGBIO中国区副主席、重庆生物信息学会副理事长、中国计算机学会生物信息专业组委员、中国生物工程学会生物信息专业组委员、中国人工智能学会生物信息专业组委员、中国计算机学会大数据专业组委员、中国遗传学会大数据专委。荣获四川省科技进步二等奖，重庆科技进步三等奖和吴文俊人工智能二等奖在内的多项学术荣誉。
