报告题目:Control and Monitoring Methods for Resilient Distributed and Networked Systems
内容简介:This talk covers different control and monitoring methods for distributed and networked systems. It focuses on different control system setups and addresses the associated modelling frameworks and design procedures. The talk also covers different approaches for their resiliency with respect to abnormality scenarios, specifically in the operation of the involved processes, sensors, and actuators as well as communication networks.
报告人简历:Ahmad W. Al-Dabbagh is an Assistant Professor and a Principal’s Research Chair in Control Systems with the School of Engineering at the University of British Columbia, in Kelowna, Canada (https://olcsr.ok.ubc.ca). His research interests relate to fault diagnosis, cyber security, and alarm management. Dr. Al-Dabbagh received his PhD degree in Control Systems from the University of Alberta, and held postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Alberta, University of Toronto, and Imperial College London. He also has more than three years of industrial work experience in design, development, and commissioning of control, monitoring, and automation solutions, mainly for manufacturing and energy applications. He has also received a number of awards and honors, e.g., Tier 2 Principal’s Research Chair, Aspire Funding, NSERC Postdoctoral Fellowship, 2018 Graduate Student Teaching Award, and President’s Doctoral Prize of Distinction.
